Yoga Nidra (Meditation)

Yoga Nidra is an ancient guided meditation technique.  Regular practice of yoga nidra has been found to improve self-regulation, reduce emotional reactivity. It has been utilized as a form of adjunctive treatment for post-traumatic and complex traumatic stress.  A recent study also demonstrated the effectiveness of yoga nidra as a tool in reducing  both the cognitive and physiological symptoms of anxiety.
